Lets take a downtown stroll

What i love the most is to pretend i am tourist at my city! Since traveling is one of passions , i thought to take a walk at the centre of beautiful Vienna.
I started with the view of Saint's Stephansdom. There are a lot of coffee places , where you can enjoy the original viennese café or a glass of prosecco .My favourite one is Hawelka , a vintage cafe which it does not seems from the outside but you can feel it as you go through .

Later , i found myself outside from the neo-baroque Burgtheatre, one of Vienna's many theatres.

As i walked down the street i came across with the Austrian Parliament Builiding, which is an other work of art! It has been placed on the Ringstrasse and it was completed in 1983. The design featured a Greek revival style , with the statue from Goddess Athena placed on the iconic fountain right in front of the facade. The design of the building was inspired by the Zappeion in Athens .

As my walk was coming to its end and still had some time for shopping , i stared walking toward to Mariahilfer Strasse . The longest shopping street in the city. It worths to pass by .

Thank you for reading it..

The next morning i found this beautiful full of healthy breakfast waiting for me in our balcony room. It was my birthday , so my boyfriend surprised me !! The best way to start my day!!!
It's breakfast time
After the day had began with best way, we were ready to explore and see the sightseeing's  of the city's. We took the tourists' bus which , by the way , is the best mean of transportation in this city...

First stop , the Saint Peter's Basilica and the Vatican !!! So stunning , even from far way you could feel it ! It was long day, but it worth it. Be prepared that you will meet a lot of people and waiting lines.. You can book your tickets on line or when you book your hop on  hop off bus , don't forget to book a day in Saint Peter's and the Vatican , as well .

Rome from above
The following day it was time for an other historical museum. It was the day for Colosseum, which was located just east of the Roman Forum, the massive stone amphitheater known as the Colosseum was commissioned around A.D. 70-72 by Emperor Vespasian of the Flavian dynasty as a gift to the Roman people. In A.D. 80, Vespasian’s son Titus opened the Colosseum–officially known as the Flavian Amphitheater–with 100 days of games, including gladiatorial combats and wild animal fights. After four centuries of active use, the magnificent arena fell into neglect, and up until the 18th century it was used as a source of building materials. Though two-thirds of the original Colosseum has been destroyed over time, the amphitheater remains a popular tourist destination, as well as an iconic symbol of Rome and its long, tumultuous history.

Everyday Italian life

After five days in this beautiful city it was about time to say goodbye. It was an amazing trip which i totally recommend to everyone. The people are amazing , although not everyone is speaking english , they are willing to help you.
